We are certainly living in an interesting time! Our wedding season is reshaping by the day and I have been busy working with our couples to continue to make their wedding day a success!
One of the cool things about meeting all the great couples I have over the years is the connection that forms from working together though one of the biggest days in their lives - their wedding day! I am always thrilled when former couples contact us for other milestones that happen in their lives!
This was just the case when Melissa, a bride from 7 years ago asked if I would be interested is photographing a maternity session from a safe social distance. Over the last couple of months I have been exercising, organizing, doing bookkeeping and finding any excuse for a woodworking project. One of the things I have not been doing is the large amount of photography I usually do this time of year. Needless to say, I was very excited to get out in the field for a shoot!
Of course, with all the excitement of getting out in the field I had somehow blocked out the reality of a swarm of black flies attacking us, but we pushed through! Melissa was a real trooper and we were able to make these wonderful images.
